CladTech Canada was started in the province of Alberta in 2002. The company was established to pursue the application of wear-resistant overlays, specifically chromium carbide for use in hydro-transport feed and tailings lines for the oil sands energy sector.
CladTech owns patents in both Canada and the US for several of its machines.
CladTech holds a Pressure Piping Certificate through ABSA, which was renewed in November of 2006.
CladTech holds “Approved Vendor” status with major customers Suncor, Syncrude, Albian Sands and CNRL. We also supply raw chromium carbide overlaid products to the contractors who provide various finished products to the oil sands producers.
In October 2006, CladTech moved into new facilities ― 9000 square foot shop, 3360 square foot office on 3.5 acres in east Nisku.
